EVENTS AT FONTANELLA MAGIC ARABIANS

Only a few months ago the idea of a new training center at Fontanella Magic Arabians was only a dream, a thought that very fast became more and more real. It’s not been easy to convince Giuseppe to affront this new step: so many things kept him already busy all day long. But once he made the decision Giuseppe was unrestrainable. He involved all his cooperators and succeeded even though many people thought it was impossible. The last few months of the 2005 were a fight against time. Giuseppe wanted to have the new center ready for the beginning of the new year. And like always, Giuseppe made his dream come true.

Now it was time to start thinking about the Grand Opening. The idea of a Barbecue Party came from Frank Spönle and the date was set for the 12^th of March. The first idea was to gather together friends and Arabian Horse enthusiasts to celebrate together with Giuseppe and his team the finishing of his farm, which was only missing a training center. So the preparation started. The week before the Barbecue Party was characterised by heavy rain, which represented a big problem for the organizing staff. All tents were built under the rain and the forecast didn’t seem to bring any good news. But the effort of so many people, of an organizing committee masterfully guided by Gerardo Ruggiero e Giulio Cacciapuoti, was finally rewarded by the tepid sun we had on the 12^th of March. The whole team was ready to host 500 people, but at the end of the day more than 800 were counted.

At this point we have point up what an incredible job was done by Luna Servizi, and in particular by Mr. Franco Luna, who prepared the catering for all guests. From early in the morning the staff and the first guests could enjoy a wonderful breakfast. At 12.00 the buffet was opened, and surprised everybody with the wonderful food.  It was not only friends, breeders and Arabian Horse lovers: Fontanella Magic Arabians was pleased to host an entire soccer school, managed by the Pollicino brothers, who brought almost one hundred kids.

The day was full with surprise. At 14.30 the horse presentation started, preceded by a big announcement: Giuseppe had the honour of presenting the new President of the Italian Team, Luigi Troiano and the Vice President, Marco Frezza. After two belly dancers wonderfully introduced the arrival of the horses.  The new presentation ring was surrounded by people anxiously awaiting to see the marvellous horses of the Fontanella Magic Arabian Team.

Famous super stars like Bint Shaklina HMP, Windsprees Mirage, Magic Mon Amour and Fs Bengali, as well as new future stars were masterfully shown by Frank Spönle, Frederik Van Sas and Angelo Teobaldelli. This incredible day signed the arrival of many new friends and families that for the first time met the Arabian Horse, joining the great family of the Italian Team.

Many important breeders also came to join Giuseppe and his team in this special day: Martine and Paul Despeghel Van Hee and the President of ANICA, Franco Santoro with his wife Serenella. One of the tents was dedicated to the goldsmiths of Altamura, Giuseppe’s friends and members of the Italian Team, who then had the chance to show their beautiful jewels entirely inspired by the Arabian Horse.The editorial staff of Tutto Arabi was also present, with a space entirely dedicated to their products, where all guests had the chance to buy the magazines produced by Alim Editrice.

This great day set the basis for the next big event: the IX Arabian Summer Festival, the meeting of the year, the “A Thousand and One Night”. Giuseppe’s villa will be finished to host an unforgettable night that will involve all guests in a magical atmosphere present only at Fontanella MAGIC Arabian Team.

Giuseppe invites all of you, friends and Arabian Horse enthusiasts to the IX Arabian Summer Festival on the 22^nd of July and he promises an unforgettable party.
